Larger supplies of coal were going to Scandinavia because the German supplies had stopped. GERMANS IN AUSTRALIA. BETTER AT WORK. Melbourne, November 17. The Hon. G. F. Pearce, Commonwealth Minister for Defence, has officially declared that it is better for the country to allow the enemy subjects to continue their ordinary occupations.
