WORK FOR BRITISH MILLS 10,000 MILES OF KHAKI. Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received November 17, 7.30 p.m.) London, November 16. Orders for army clothing comprise 6,250,000 dressjackets, 1,500,000 great coats, 7,000,000 pairs of pants, 6,500,000 pairs of boots, 5,000,000 pairs of trousers, 11,000,000 shirts, and 11,000,000 pairs of socks. The total length of khaki material ordered from Yorkshire mills is estimated to extend to 10,000 miles.
