MISCELLANEOUS CASES.
James Kelly and Frederick Moss were each fined £1, in default three days' impribonment, for indecency. W lliam Henry Quinn was fined £1 for entering licensed premises during the currency of a prohibition order. A similar charge against Charles McGcahan was adjourned for a week. William Higgins was sentenced to two months' imprisonment on a charge of disobeying a maintenance order for the support of his wife, the warrant to be suspended, prov'ded he paid 5s a week off the arrears and kept up his payments On the original order. Albert Ernest Vearst, who under a private arrangement allowed his wife from £1 2s 6d to £1 4s a week, according to his wages, was ordered to P n v ,£l 10 ; per week. Charges against W lliam Tilly and Henry Bus-ridge, of flailing to comply with maintenance orders for the support of their wives, were dismissed, owing to the inability of defendants to pay the amounts.
