THE MANUKAU SEAT.

MR. LANG AT OTAHUHU.

A large meeting in the Otahuhu Public Hall was addressed last evening by the Hon. F. W. Lang, who is a candidate for re-election to the Manukau seat. The capacity of the hall is about four hundred persons, but a much larger number was present, the acommodation being crowded. Mr. A. Sturges, Mayor of Otahuhu, presided. Mr. Lang received a most attentive hearing and his account of the legislation earned through Parliament during the Government's term of • office, was frequently applauded. At the close of the address, a vote of thanks and confidence was accorded to Mr. Lang, the motion being carried almost unanimously.
