SOLICITOR'S ESTATE.
VERY SMALL DIVIDEND.

Timaru, Tuesday, A meeting of creditors was held in the bankrupt estate of Walter Shaw, an exsolicitor. The official assignee submitted a report and a boaiement of accounts. The proved debts amounted to £51,867. Since the middle of 1913, £1908 had been received and £1739 expended, and solicitors' fees would probably be £450. There was £1940 that would probably be available, but much of it would take many years to collect, and there were other more doubtful amounts, totalling £3200.
The solicitors thought that by careful management Is in the £ could bo saved.
The meeting resolved that the remaining assets be sold, if possible.
