AN" AUCKLAND TRIBUTE.

Feeling reference to the death of Earl Roberts was made at the meeting of the Finance Committee of the Auckland Patriotic. League yesterday morning. On the motion of Mr. H. Horton, seconded by Mr. X. A. Xathan, the following resolution was carried: —"This committee desires to place on record its sense of the great loss which the British nation has sustained in the death of the great soldier and patriot. Earl Roberts."
