The Coromandcl Croquet green was openec this afternoon, and, notwithstanding a cold, westerly wind, there was a good attendance of members and friends. The green was in good order. The president, Mr. Bon. B J. Johnson, gave a hearty welcome to the visitors, and said the pavilion had beer built and a considerable amount of worl clone on the green during tlie year, and the club was able to pay off all liabilities anc start the season free of debt.
