OPPOSITION' CAMPAIGN.
During last, week, Mr. A. G. C Glass Opposition candidate for Franklin, was actively engagAl in his campaign. He addressed meetings at Otau, Clevedon, Milium, Aranmu, and Ramarama, receiv trig at each centre a vote of thanks for Ins address. A large meeting in the Otaliuin, Public Hall was addressed by Mr (.lass on Friday evening, nn d a vote of thanks with an expression of confidence in the Opposition, was carried with cheers A hostile section was present at the meeting in Drury on Saturday, but a vote of thanks and confidence was again carried by a large majority. The candidate is advocating a scheme of advances to farmers upon the security 0 their stocks and crops,
