PAEROA FLOWER SHOW.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COURESPONDEXT.] Paeroa, Monday. The annual rose show, held in connection with St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, took place to-day. There was a very fair display of rosea, but owing to the recent dry weather the other flowers were not up to .the usual standard. Mr. W. E. Lippiatt, of Auckland, hod a fine lot of roses on exhibition. The following were the principal prizewinners: Roses: Parawai school, F. C. Bluck, Mrs. Dobson Sweet Peas: Mrs. Dobson, Mrs. Connolly, Mrs. A. H. Wilson, Mrs. Lockie. Other competitions resulted:—Basket of roses: Mrs. Darnton. Lady's spray and two buttonholes: A. Bush, 1; Athol Dobson, 2Floral hat. on wire frame: Mrs. Darnton, 1 Table decoration: Mrs A. H. Wilson, 1; Miss McWatters, 2. Table decoration, children Tinder 16: Allen Mcßenna, 1: Ivy McRenna 2. Lady's spray and two buttonholes, children under 16: Thelma Ardern, 1.
