MASSACRE OF SPANIARDS.

REPARATION DEMANDED.

Madrid, November 14.

The Spanish authorities have made a strong protest to Germany concerning the alleged action of inebriated German soldiers in massacring certain Spaniards in Liege with mitrailleuses on the Place de la Universite. Reparation is demanded for the families of the deceased.

' The German authorities have replied stating that if the accusation against the soldiers is proved the Government will be disposed to apologise and afford reparation.
