WHEN A EUSBAND WAS AWAY.
A WIFE'S CONDUCT.
Charles James Green, miner, of Waihi (Mr. Lundon), asked that his marriage to Elizabeth Rachel Green be annulled. Charles Keane was joined as co-respondent in this case, the ground of the petition being adultery. The marriage took place at Brmmerton. on March 7, 1892. When the strike took place at Waihi the patties came to Auckland. Petitioner said that about five years ago he went to South Africa, where lie stayed for a few months, and when he returned respondent made certain admissions as to infidelity. He forgave her, but she had again been guilty of misconduct. There were three children of the marriage. A decree nisi was granted, to be moved absolute at the expiration of three months. Costs on the lowest scale were piven against co-resoondtfnt.
