SHIP'S OFFICER MISSING.

WEST COAST MYSTERY. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gketmotjth, Friday. The second mate of the steamer Rosamond, Mr. B. Wishaw, is missing from that vesselj which arrived here to-day. Tho captain reports that Mr. Wishaw was pursuing his duties as usual, at 3.30 yesterday morning, off Kahurangi Point, but half an hour later he could not be found. Tho ship was labouring heavily at the time.
