I hereby give notice that it is the intention of the Rotorua County Council to Raise a Special Loan under " The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913." The proposal is more particularly as follows: — (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is the hard metalling of certain roads in the Mamaku Special Rating Area, particulars whereof are open for inspection at the office of the Rotorua County Council. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £2000, at a rate of interest of £4 10s per centum per annum, with a sinking fund of £1 . 23 2d per centum additional, and having a currency of 361 years. (c) The proposed security is an annually recurring special rate of 13-32 d in the pound sterling on the amount of the annual ratable value of all ratable properly in the said Special Area, and tho provision for the repayment of the loan is a sinking fund of £1 2s 2d per centum per annum on the amount thereof or such greater or lesser amount as may be required and may be allowed by law. (d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the intorest and sinking fund for the first year. Dated this 9th day of October, 1914. HORACE S. W.
