QUESTION OF NEGLECT. [Br TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchturch, Sunday. At the inquest on Nora Kathleen Condon, nine years of age, the coroner read a report from the- medical man who attended the child to the effect that he refused to give a certificate because there had been neglect on the part of the father, who had not given the child the medical attention the case demanded. The mother of the child denied telling the doctor that her husband refused to call in a doctor. A verdict of death due to chronic lung disease was returned.
