''-• *■ . T '. -;,J - r _i ... A meeting of the One-tree Hill' Road Board, was held last night, when there were present: -Messrs. Hi'. B. Morton (chairman), H. Jtobbie, T. H. Rowe, J,. Dykes, C., Slyfield, A. Payne, and H, Shrewsbury. -■• • p - _ -•..;
The chairman . submitted a financial forecast to members, estimating the board's revenue for the current term'.at £1600, and , the •'. expenditure; at £1900. Members discussed the possibilities' of retrenchment, but all, including the chair-. man, wer« f averse to dismissing any,. or the board's labourers. Finally they decided to continue as .at present for the next three months. .%
In place of Mr. ..Stevens, resigned, f Mr. J. L. Lupton was appointed to the posi- -e, : i tion of drainage overseer. " ■'*,-■ ;-\ On the motion of *.'• Mr. ..
