Tut, OneVmntra. Homing Society flew its tecond old-bird race last week-end from Tc Awamutu, a distance of 78 miles, airline. The birds were liberated at 3.30 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived at 5.30 p.m. The ? result is as follows:—J. Hipwell's Firefly, y velocity 1144 yds por minute, 1; C. Richard's [" Argyle, 1140 yds, 2; K. May's Her Majesty, ir 1100 yds. 3; J. Hammerich's Sunbeam, c. 1098 yds, 4; S. May's Pretty Polly, 881 yds, 6.
