Notice is hereby given that at a Special Arret in* of the Renutera Road Board held I on MONDAY, the '24tb day oi August, 1911, the resolutions (intended to operate as Special Orders) mentioned in the Schedule b-reto, were passed, and the said Resolutions will he submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the said Board, to be held on MONDAY, the 21st day o.' September, 1914. at 7 JO pm, at the Kemuera Road Board's Office, Kemuera. That in pursuance of the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," and of all other Acts and powers lit nnyi en abl'.ng it in that behalf, the Remuera Road Board raise a Special Loan of £3700. to be called " The Remuera Drainage Completion Loan of £3700." for the purpose of completing the undertaking in respect of which the loan of £37,045 was in 1911 raised (that is to say, for the construction of drainage works for the drainage of the balance of the unsewered portion of the Remuera Road District, known as "The Number Two Drainage Area," which area is bounded as follows:—All that piece of land in the Remuera Road District, in the County of Eden, commercing at the junction of Brighton and Remuera Roads, bounded towards the south-west by the Remuera Road. Market R,oad, and Great South Road, to Graham Street Towards the south and south-east by the Mount Wellington and Tamaki West Road Districts, to the Orakei Creek. Towards the north by the Orakei Basin and Hooson's Bay, to the Recreation Reserve sa. Towards the west by Arney Road and Brighton Road, to the commencing point). That such loan be repayable in Sydney in New South Wales, free of exchange, on the 22nd day of March, 1951; that the interest thereon be at the rate of £5 per centum per annum, payable in Sydney aforesaid, free, of exchange, half-yearly, on the 22nd day of March and the 2'2nd day of September in each year during the currency of the said loan; that the form of security for the payment of the said Special Loan and interest be debentures and rela'ive coupons, three of such debentures being eath for the sum of £1000. and one debenture being for the sum of £700; that for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges, on the said loan, the Remuera Road Board make and levy a Special Rate of One Twenty-seventh of a Penny in the pound upon the ratable value 'on the basis of the capital value' of all ratable property of the special rating area, comprising that portion of the Remuera Road District, described as aforesaid, and known as " The No 2 Drainage Area." and that such Special Rate be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the said loan; that the portion of the Remuera Road District described as aforesaid and known as "The No. 2 Drainage Area." be constituted a special ratine area for the purpose of the said loan; that a sinking fund of £37 per annum be established in connection with ' the said loan. Public Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Eden Terrace Road Board, held on the first day of September. 1911, it was resolved by way of Special Order that the Eden Terrace Road Board in pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in " The Road Boards Act. 1908.' and its amendments, and " The Public Health Act. 1908," and in pursuance of all and every the other powers in that behali contained in any other Act enabling it, doth hereby by Special order ordain as follows:-— Section 2 of Building By-laws Number 3 of the said Board, made on the fiftecnlh day of September, 1908. shall be amended by adding to Clause 'dl thereof the words, "and unless such dweltinghouse shall have a frontage for its full width to the same public road." The foregoing By-law shall come into force on it' being gazetted, and shall apply to the whole of the Eden Terrace Road District. The said Resolution will he submitted for confirmation to a Meeting of the Eden 'terrace Road Board to be held a' 'he Board's Office New North Road.
