ARRANGEMENTS FOR TO-MORROW. The arrangements for to-morrow's matches of the Auckland Hockey Association, are as follows: — Shield Match: Wellington v. Auckland, at Romuera, 3 p.m., referees Messrs. L. C. Kent and H. V. Walton. Thames v. Auckland Juniors, at Romuera, 1.45 m., referee Mr L. H. Norton. r Thames Juniors v. Auckland Colts, Remnera No. 4 ground, 1.15 p.m., reforoe Mr. W. L. Mincher. Ladies' Match: Thames v. Auckland, Renmera No. 5 ground, 1.45 p.m., referee Mr. R. H. Killip.
THAMES V. AUCKLAND JUNIORS. The selectors, Messrs. Speight, Goulding, and Hobson, have chosen the following team to represent Auckland juniors against the Thames representatives, as a " curtainraiior" to the Wellington-Auckland shield match at Remuera to-morrow: — Goalkeeper: P. Hobson, University. Fullbacks: B. C. West, University: C. Bathgate, Training College. Halfbacks : A. M. Goulding. University; J. Steele, Auckland; D. Clayton, University. Forwards: W. Edmunds, Areta; Davies, Mount Eden; A. 0. Darby, Auckland": 6. J. Moeridge, Dunholme; E. V. Blake, University. Reserves: Fullback. K. Dnthie, University; halfback, Bartlett, Mount Eden; forwards, E. Cronin, University; C. White, Areta.
HAWKE'S BAY MATCH CANCELLED. Mr. E. J. Hallett, chairman of the Hawke's Bay Association, telegraphed yesterday to the effect that it has been found impossible to send a team to Auckland this season. Hawke's Bay was to play Auckland for the shield on September 26, if the local team was successful against Wellington, but now that this match has fallen through to-morrow's contest will be the last match of the year. The winners will hold the trophy until nest season.
AUCKLAND V. HAMILTON. The following will represent the Hamilton juniors c gainst the Auckland juniors tomorrow:—Goal: Wrklev. Fullbacks: Gaulton and Goodwin. Halfbacks: Reynolds. R. Hinton. and Harman. Forwards: Goodwin, Bettley, Laver. Worsley. and Harrison.
