Kir, gston, manager of tho South British lusuramc Company, lias been elected to succeed the late Mr. Horaen Walker, ono of the Insurance Company's representatives on tho Auckland Firo Board. In tho board's annual report a tributo is paid to the faithful and attentive service rendered ly the late Mr. Walker to tho board.
