BRITISH WARSHIPS LEAVE FOR MEXICAN GULF.
PROTECTION OF OIL AND COTTON SHIPS. (Received August 28. 9.10 p.m.) New Ygp.k, August 27, British warships have been despatched from Galveston, Texas, to Mexican waters to protect the oil and cotton ships in the Gulf of Mexico, where it is believed German warships are operating.
