DYNAMITE WORKS IN DANGER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright St. Petersburg, July 14. The greatest continuous heat wavo for half-a-century is being experienced. Monster forest fires aro raging in every direction. The effect of the drought on crops is causing anxiety. For twenty-four hours the Schlucsselburg dynamite factory, Lake Ladoga, was threatened with destruction by a great peat fire. Troops endeavoured to stifle tho flames with liquid mud. Tho wind changed to-day, and the factory was saved.
