CLAIM FOR DAMAGED TIMBER.
The damage done by a number of horses to a quantity of timber in a paddock o.i Mangero in January last was tho caus.) of an action which came before Mr. o.' C. t After hearing the evidence, Hia Worship said that lie was convinced that liu defendant had not had the neccsary authority to put his horses in the paddock, and was, therefore, really .a trespasser. In those circumstances, liu would have to pay fur the damage done, as Fordyco was rightfully on the property. .
