ALL-ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. PARKE DEFEATED. WILDING'S GOOD SHOWING. Mavrogordato (Britain) beat Germont (France), 6-3, 2—6, 6-4, 6-1. Froitzheim (Germany) beat Parke (Britain), 5-7, 6-2, 9-7, 6-2. Beamish (Britain) beat Davson, 6 — 6—2, 6—l. In the doubles, F. and A. Lowe beat Ross and Watt, 6-1, 6-1, 6-3. Clements and Watson beat Goro and Kingscote, 6—B, B—lo, 6—o, 6—2, 6—2. Decugis and Germot beat Thcl and Bullock, 6-0, 6-2, 6—3. Wilding and Brookes beat Clements and Wason, 6—2, 6—l, 6-4. In the mixed doubles, Wilding and Mile. Broquedis beat Doust and Miss Morton. 7—5, 6-8, 6—3. In tho All-England Plate, Jacob beat A. Yencken, 6—l, 6—3. Cooper beat Kidson, 6—5, 6—4. The heat was intense, and tho play generally slack. Beamish won by persistent driving against Davson's forehand play. F-T>itzhcim relied upon Parke losing patience and going for a win. The match was dull, but the German's tactics were justified. Against Wilding and Mdlle. Broquedis, Doust was in great form at the net.
