TOTAL TO DATE, £94,611. y Fob the four-weekly period ended June 20, the Waihi-Paeroa Gold Extraction Company, Ltd., treated 11,500 tons of tailiin> for a return ot £3800. Royal lode cast of No. 5 shaft crosscut: Lode at 81ft in, crosscut to tho south, driven to the south ?7;t, vaue per ton, 9s 6d; the width of the lode is aoout 2Jft. Empire lode, west of No. 2 shaft crosscut : At 210 ft the total width of tho lodo is 15ft; first 3ft, valued at 8s Od ; next 2ft, country rock; last 10ft, value, £1 0s 6d. Edward lode, south of Welcome : East section of lode 40ft; valuo per ton, £3 0s 6d. No. 11 level, Royal lode, north section, south drive: 23ft driven; valuo por ton, 16s 6d. The lodo is mixed with country. North crosscut is now down in 132 ft. At 103 ft have intersected carbonaceous seam, dip 28 degrees from tho horizontal south-oast." FOUR-IN-HAND. [BT TELBOEiPn.— CORRESPONDENT. ] I Thames, Friday. A sitting of the Thames Warden's Conrt was held to-day, when the following applications were dealt with :— E. Ryan's application for a license for the Hidden Treasure special claim was recommended to the Minister. Watchman G.M.* Company's application for six months' protection for the Thames Big Reefs, Tararu, and Creek special claims was granted, with the consent of the Minister. James Boyle applied for a license for a hematite ore claim, which was granted. T. Taylor's application for a residence site license at Waiotahi Creek was granted, and that of H. H. Hoyle for _ a license to cut 19' kauri trees 'at Waiomo was granted, subject to tho payment of fees.
