THE MATTER OF GLOVES.

TWO "DON'TS."

Oh, don't wear white gloves if your hands are rather larger than you could wish. White increases the apparent size of the hands tremendously. If you want to make your hands seem small, always wear gloves of tho same colour as your costume; a white costume is the onlv one with which you may have white gloves. And don't wear short, two-button gloves with ft coat and skirt which has an elbow-sleeved blouso below it, for, sooner or later, the coat sleeves are sure to work up a little and leave a gap of bare arm between the top of the glovo and the bottom of the sleeve. This looks bad at any time of year, but, in the winter, when tho wrist is all red and roughened by the cold, it looks simply dreadful!
