AQUATICS.

MANUKAU BOAT CLUB. The annual social and smoke concert in connection with the Manukau Yajfcht and Motariboat Club ' was held in the club's rooms. Mr. J. Park occupied the chair, and there was a largo attendance of members and friends. I?he chairman, welcomed the visitors, and congratulated tho club on its continued prosperity. Amongst the visitors present were the Hon. F. W. Lang, M.P., Mr. J. Rowo (Mayor), representing the council, Mr. H. R. McKenzio (Auckland Harbour Board), and several delegates 'from other clubs. An excellent programme was supplied by the ' following Master Ward, Messrs. Huston, Pickerton, H. and D. Black. A. Watts, L. Taylor, and Captain Gibbons,. Mr. W. Pureell acting as accompanist. During the evening the prizes won through, tho past season were presented to the various winners by. the chairman. Mr. i. Park was made a lifo.hon. member of .the club.
