EDEN TERRACE BOARD.
The Eden Terrace Road Board met last evening. There were present: Messrs. T. W. Mclaughlin, H. A. Good, C. H. Olive, and W. H. Butler. Notico was given that the following rates would be struck for the ensuing year at a special meeting of the board to be held on June 23, the rates levied in the previous year being shown in paren- i theses : —General rate, Id-in the £ (Id); separate hospital and charitable aid rate, l-7d in the £ (l-7a); separate gas and lighting rate, l-9d in the £ (l-7d) ; sepa- J rate drainage rate, l-16d in the £ (l-16d); j special rate (interest), l-5d in the £ (l-7d): special drainage rate, l-7d in the j £ (l-12d). " |
Mr. McLaughlin was appointed to act with Mr. Good to represent tho board on tho Auckland Suburban Local Bodies' Association.
It was decided not to hold any further meeting of the board until the three new members have been elected on Juno 20, so that the next meeting of the board will not be held till June 23.
