MONTHLY APPROPRIATIONS
The monthly appropriations of the Auckland Co-operative Terminating Building Society were made last night at a general meeting of the society in St. James's Hall. A sum aggregating £10,600, of which £10,400 had been advertisied, was allotted. The results were as follows: — Group 1 : Sale advertised, but no tender received. A ballot was taken, No. S6B being successful, and holding two shares took £400. Group 2 : Sale advertised, but no tender received. A ballot was taken, No. 637 being successful and, holding two shares, took £400. Group 3 : Sale advertised, but no tender received. A ballot was taken, No. 618 being successful, and holding two shares took £400. . Group 4 : Sale advertised, but no tender received. A ballot was taken, No. 838 being successful and holding only one share took £200. In a second ballot No. 508. was successful, and holdinig two shares took £400, making £600 in this group. Group 5 : Sale of £400. Hiighest tender at £41 per £200 took £400. Group 6 : Ballot of £400. No. 318 successful, and holding two shares took £400. Group 7 : Ballot of £400. No. 405 successful, and holding two shares took £400. Group 8: Ballot of £400. No. 610 successful, and holding two shares took £400. Group 9 : Ballot of £400. No. 7 successful, and holding two shares took £400. Group 10 : Sale of £400. Highest tender at £65 per £200 took £400.
Group 11 : Ballot of £400. No. 71 successful, and holding two shares took 8400.
Group 12 : Sale of £400. Highest.tender at £56 Is 6d per £200 took £400. Group 13 : Sale of £400. Highest tender at £67 2 S 6d per £200 took £400. Group 14 : Sale of £400. Highest tender at £65 per £200 took £400. Group 15 : Ballot of £400. No. 743 successful, and holding two shares took £400. Group 16 : Ballot of £400. No 63 successful, and holding two shares took £400. Group 17: Sale of £400. Highest tender at £64 10s per £200 took £400. Group 18 : Ballot of £400. No. 108 successful, and holding two shares took £400. Group 19 : Sale of £400. Highest tender at £72 oer £200 took £400. Group 20: Sale of £400. Highest tender at £67 10s 6d per £200 took £400 Group 21 : Sale of £400. Highest tender at £69 4s 6d per £200 took £400 Group 22 : Ballot of £400. No. 389 , °S M ™» and holding two shares took £400. Group 23 : Sale of £400. Highest tender at £70 5s 6d per £200 took £400 Group 24 : Sale of £400. Highest tender at £73 3s 6d per £200 took £400 Group. 25 : Sale of £400. Highest tender at £75 2s 3d per £200 took £400 Group 26 Ballot of £400. No. 780* successful, and holding two shares took. i*4oo. The April meeting and appropriations will be omitted on account of the annual audit.
