THE ASSOCIATION GAME.
A.F.A- ANNUAL MEETING,
The annual meeting of the Auckland Football Association was held on Tuesday evening, Mr. E. Harvey presiding over a large attendance of delegates. The annual report and balance-sheet, details of which have already been published, were adopted. Various alterations to the rules were approved, one of which provides for the payment of a registration fee of one shilling for every first, second, third, and fourth-grade player registered. A motion to abolish the age limit of 21 for the third grade, was defeated. Mr. W. Smithyman, who has for the past 17 years taken an active interest in the affairs of the Association game in Auckland, was elected a life member. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr. J. Pascoe; vice-presidents, Hon. G. Powlds, Rev J. T. North. Messrs. H. Schmidt. N. T. Williams. J. J. Craig, A. M. Myers, E. Davis, J. Halford; Management Committee, Messrs. E. Harvey, D. Williams J. Hilford, W. Harrison, G. Muster. J. Turnbull W. Dance, F. Blanks, and E. J. Winks; auditors, Messrs. R. H. Horsley and W. Boyne; delegates to N.Z.T.A., Messrs. W. Reynolds ( and H. Mayer.
