THE EASTER HOLIDAYS.

Sir,—Now that.the date is fixed for the closing of the Exhibition, it seems a matter for regret that so many in the Taranaki district have been unable to visit us. I speak on behalf of men who are occupied in Government offices and banks, who only get holidays at certain times, of limited duration. Many of these men would like to come to Auckland and bring their families to see the Exhibition at Easter, but their holidays consist of Friday, Saturday, and Monday, April 10, 11, and 13, and, most unfortunately, the Union Company's boat leases New Plymouth only on Tuesday, 7th, and Friday, 10th. Would it be possible to approach the company with a view to make an exception on this occasion, and allow the boat to leave New Plymouth on Thursday, April 9?

Paterfamilias.
