DEALINGS WITH MARCONIS
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.
London, March 14. The inquiry into the Marconi share transactions of Lord Murray while Chief Liberal Whip has opened.
Replying to a query by counsel yesterday as to whether it would not be better to hear Lord Murray's statement first, Lord Halsbury (chairman) said it was quite outrageous to suggest that Lord Murray should do so. It was for his accusers to establish their case first.
The committee gave no directions about the course to be followed by counsel, and adjourned till next week. >
