WAITEMATA CLUB. The trial fours of the Waitemata Boating Club for trophies presented by the vice-presi-dent, Mr. R. G. Cox, were rowed on Saturday afternoon. Following were the results — First heat; Wolfgramn's crew beat Gilmour's crew by one length. Second heat: Michalsen's crew beat Hudleston's crew by half-a-length. Third heat: Jarvia's crew beat Marshall's crew by 3ft. -Final: O. Wolfgramn (stroke), F. Ellis, G. Taylor, H. White, 1; H. Jarvis (stroke), W. Wallace, Doubleday, Buchanan, 2; D. Michalsen (stroke), E. Westbrook, J. Boag, Metcalfe, 3. Won by half-a-length, the tihrd crew being a similar distance away. WELLINGTON REGATTA.[BY TELEGBAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Sunday. The Wellington Rowing Regatta was held yesterday. A strong northerly wind hampered the rowers and caused the times to be very Blow. Following are the results: — Senior Sculls, one mile and a-half.Had-field (Waitemata), 1; A. Sharpe (Wanganui Union), 2; Marshall (Wanganui), 3. Won by two lengths, a similar distance between second and third. Time, 11m 31s. Maiden Fours, one mile.—Avon (A. R. Nightingale stroke), 1; Wairau (C. Adams stroke), 2; Star (Nackworth stroke). 3. Won by a length, with Star close behind Wairau. Time, 6m 465. Senior Fours, two miles.Wanganui Union (J. Cotterell stroke), 1; Star (Bayfield stroke), 2. Won by five lengths. Time, 14m Bs. Junior Clinker Pairs, one mile.—Star No. 1, 1; Avon, 2; Aramoho, 3. Won by four lengths. Time, 8m 255. Maiden Pairs, one mile.—Star, 1; Aramoho, 2; Canterbury, 3. Won easily by a dozen lengths, with Canterbury well behind Aramoho. Time, 8m 20s. Junior Fours, one mile and a-half.Star (B. E. Bird stroke), 1; Wairau (C. Adams stroke), 2; Aramoho (W. J. Tuildford stroke), 3. Time, 10m 38s. Senior Double Sculls, one mile and a-half.— Wanganui Union, 1; Wellington, 2; Sumner, 3. Won by less than a foot. Time, 10m 355. I Youths' Fours, one mile.—Picton (W. Patterson stroke), 1; Avon (F. Agassiz stroke), 2; Wairau (F. Gill stroke), 3. Won by a canvas, a length between second and third. Time 6m 575.
