LAW SUIT DISMISSED.

Whangarei, Sunday. Reserved judgment was given by Mr. E. Page, S.M., yesterday, in a case Heard at the Magistrate's Court on Thursday, when Mr. T. H. Steadman prosecuted A. Drever and J. S. McAven, the dredgemaster ana engineer for the Whangarei Harbour Board respectively, for mooring the dredge in the river in such a position that navigation or both launches and yachts was impeded. The prosecution was dismissed, on the grounds that the plaintiff should have laid any objections before the harbourmaster, that official being in sole control of all shipping in the river. Notice 'of appeal against the judgment has been given^
