Timabv, Sunday. The second of the youthful gaol escapees, Matthews, was arrested near Glenavy yesterday morning. He submitted quietly like his mate, who was arrested near Timaru on Friday.

Matthews had a revolver and amrrmnition with him, as well as articles stolen from a bouse at Pareora on Friday. A long list of charges of theft is to be made against the boys.
