MINISTER ON TOUR.

MR. FRASER IN THE SOUTH. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gore, Sunday. Tin: Minister for Public Works, the Hon. W. Fraser, is now visiting the southern portion of Wakatipu, his electorate. He received a number of deputations, including one from the Wendon leaseholders, who complained somewhat bitterly of the variety of tenures to which they are subjected, and of the fact that no compensation is allowed for grass on the termination of the leases. The Minister promised to bring the matter under the notice of the Minister for Lands. He continues his country tour to-morrow and on Tuesday.
