An order has been placed with M. Sikorsky for 10 of his new aeroplanes at a dbst of 1,000,000 roubles (£500,000)* This type weighs 3.', tons, and has cabins and sleeping accommodation for a number of persons. Recently M. Sikorsky took eight passengers in one 'of these machines for a flight lasting an hour in the teeth of a snowstorm.
