SUPREME COURT BUSINESS.

[by telegraph.—press association ] Napier, Tuesday. Tire sittings of the Supreme Court opened to-day before Mr. Justice Edwards.. The grand jury found true bills in all seven cases put before them-

A Chinaman named Shoo Shing was found not guilty of a criminal offence against a young girl- John Mr Halm, who pleaded guilty to a charge of the theft of two totalisator tickets, valued at £45 10s, was admitted to probation. A foreigner named Henry Schilling pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal assault, and wat ordered to rome up for sentence when called upon.
