HIGH PRICES MAINTAINED. AMERICAN COMPETITION. By Telegraph— Association— (Received March 8, 5.5 p.m..) London, March 7. The wool sales were continued yesterday, all prices being fully maintained. There was strong American competition. The following prices were realised for the fleece portions of the clips named:— Tepura, top 12id, average 12|d; Piako, top 12|d, average, ll|d; Maunga, top 13d, average 12fd; Rimurda, top 14d, average 12|d; Landdowne, top 15id, average 14jd.
