SATURDAY'S BUSINESS.
The tone of the Eharemarket was unaltered on Saturday. There was fair demand for standard stocks at recent rates, but no business resulted.
In mining lines, Waihis were easier, sales talcing place at 47s and 46s 6d, with closing sellers at 475, and buyers at 46s 3d. W'aihi Grand Junctions sold at 25s 6d, more being offered at the sama price, buyers 25s 3d. There was a sale of Ross Goldfields at 3s 9d, late sellers asking 4s, with buyers back tO'3s"sd.
