LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Play was continued yesterday in the Auckland Croquet Association's championship meeting, hollowing were the results -Miss Esam and Mrs. Rankin beat Mrs. Gardner and Mrs. Arey, Mrs. Kidd and Mrs. Hudson beat Mrs. Thornes and Walker. Mrs O'Donnell beat Miss Workman, Mrs. Clarke beat Mrs. Oswald.
In-day the following matches will be played : -Mrs Jack and Mrs. Squirrell v. Mrs Clarke and Mrs. Briffault, at 10 a.m.; Mrs Oswald and Miss Brown v. Mrs. Fullerton and Mrs. Gnmwade, at 10 a.m.; Mrs. Morton will play Mrs. Gardner on the first vacant lawn, Mrs. Mackay will ay Mrs McLean on the second vacant lawn, Mrs' Potter will play Mrs Owen on the next vacant lawn. Mrs. Smith will play Mrs Snedden after those games are finished. Mrs Thornes will play Mrs. Saxon (to be roadv when called upon). J A progressive day will be held towards the «i ? ij i e meet,n S- Any member of an affiliated lawn may enter, and those who wish to do so may place their names on the list at the Rernuera lawns.
