PARNELL HOTELS.
The quarterly meeting of the Parnell Licensing Committer was held yesterday in the ' Newmarket Borough Council offices, when there were prefent on the Bench Mr. E. V. Cut ten, S.M. (chairman), Messrs. A. Clements, R. S. Briggs, and W. W. Whyman. Sub-Inspector Johnson represented the police.
The following applications for transfers of licenses were granted: —Alexandra Hotel, .las. Wells to Timothy Connolly (Mr. M. D. Mahoney); Captain Cook Hotel, D. Rogers t,c> A. Evetts (Mr. Hammond). Mr. Cutter remarked that the police report was a satisfactory one..
