CLAIM BY A DOCTOR.

New York, March 5. A Chicago doctor named Frank Lydston, announced at a meeting of the Medical Association to-day, that he had transplanted a gland from a dead person into his own body. If the operation proved a permanent success, he held that a cure had been found for Bright's disease, and ailments due to premature senility.
