THE SCHEDULE, . ' RESOLVED: 1. That the Otahuhu Borough Council raise a Special Loan of SEVEN HUNDRED AND- FIFTY POUNDS (£750) for the purpose of paying the proportion of the cost of . rebuilding the Mangere Bridge - which the Otahuhu Borough Council was * ordered to pay by Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor bearing date the 26th day of June, 1913, and for the purpose of paying the cost of raising the said Special Loan and the first yeir'e interest thereon. And that such Special Loan be raised by the issue of two Debentures for the sums of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS and TWO HUNDRED A>"D FIFTY POUNDS respectively bearing interest at the rate of five pounds per centum per annum payable half yearly on the twenty-third day of January and the twenty-third day of July in each yi>ar. And that the said two Debentures be redeemable at the Bank of New Zealand it Auckland on the twenty-third day of January, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-four. 2. That the said Debenture for five hundred pounds be sold for not less than four hundred and ninety-five pounds and the said Debenture for two hundred and fifty pounds for not less than two hundred and forty-seven pounds ten shillings. 3. That this Resolution operate as S Special Order. RESOLVED: In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by " The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: —That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUNDS authorised to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council under the abovementioned Act to pay the proportion of the cost of rebuilding the Mangere Bridge which the Otahuhu Borough Council was ordered to pay by Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor bearing date the twenty-sixth day of June, 1913, the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of One-eighteenth of a Penny in the Pound upon the ratable value of all the ratable property within the whole of the Borough of Otahuhu. And that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years from the twenty-third day of January, 1914, or until the loan is fully, paid off.
