A £10.000,000 VENTURE. I.on'pov. January 8. Ciiivv has decided to start a big steam-.-hip company, with a capital ol £10.000.000. Two-fifths of this amount will be i.used by the Government and by merchants, and the remainder among the rich Chinese in the interior and the Chinese living abroad. A fleet of about forty steamers is to he acquired.
