The injection of sugar into tffe blood of a person who is apparently dying from heart failure or exhaustion in various diseases not only restores the action of the heart, but produces a remarkable improvement in the patient's general condition, 'this interesting communication has been made by Dr. Enriques to the Academy of Medicine. The doctor declared that the results he had obtained in such cases were almost miraculous.
