PICTURE SHOWS.
CENSORSHIP QUESTION.
"I think the time has come," remarked Mr. Macdonald, of Otago, at yesterday's sitting of the New Zealand Educational Institute, " when a censorship in regard to picture shows should be instituted. These shows would be of great educational value to children, but many of them are doing an immense amount of harm." These sentiments were approved by a number of teachers present.
