MINERS RESUMING WORK.
BALLOTS ON WEST COAST. MEN BECOME . ARBITRATIONISTS. [BT TELEGRAPH.— iSSOCimON.] Westoort, Wednesday. In accordance with the result of the secret ballot, the groat majority of the Denniston miners,-leaded by the band, marched to the company's office this morning and entered their names as applicants for employment in the mine under the Arbitration Act. i 1 ! The ballot at the Millerton mine resulted: For work; 143; against, 118. The men marched in procession to ' the company's oifice and signed on under tfte Arbitration Act. The figures show that foany did not vote or have left the district. Stockton's ballot is also expected to favour individual application for re-employment. A number of members of the old waterside union for whom there is no work are leaving the district. : | ,
