SHEARER'S FATAL FALL. DROPPED ON TO CONCRETE. fat TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wanganui, Sunday. A shearer named Francis Nelson. Shields, who was boarding at the Argylo ; Hotel, Hunterville, rose one night last week and fell out of the bathroom window to the concrete yarding, 18ft below. Although badly injured, he managed to crawl upstairs again to a room in which he was subsequently found by the porter of the hotel. His injuries and general condition were of such a nature that he was removed to the Wanganui Hospital, where he died two- days later. .... The adjourned inquest was held on Friday afternoon, when a verdict was returned that deceased met his death by an accident caused by falling out of the bathroom window, o blame being attachable to anyone. ,
