The Tyser liner Indrabarah, which remained so long stranded on the New Zealand coast, has again proved unlucky. She a day ago grounded while passing through the Suez Canal. It will be necessary to discharge her cargo in order to refloat her. Meanwhile the traffic is obstructed. 58 DAYS ON THE BEACH The above incident recalls the sensational circumstances of the vessel's last visit to New Zealand in April of this year. She is practically a new steamer of 7395 gross tons, and on that occasion was on her fifth visit to the Dominion. She is owned by the Indra Lino, bat has been running between England and Australian and New Zealand ports in conjunction with the Tyser Line. The Indrabarah left Gisborne in heavy weather on May 7 for Wanganui roadstead to load frozen meat and general cargo for London. A severe westerly gale was raging on the following night, About 9 p.m. she arrived off the roadstead, but, the weather being very bad, put to sea again, and at four o'clock on Saturday morning grounded on the beach, seven miles north of the Rangitikei River, and abont 25 miles south of Wanganui. After being fast on the beach for 58 days tho Indrabarah was floated off at high water on the night of July 6, and proceeded to Wellington under her own steam. The vessel suffered very little damage as the result of the mishap, but was sent to Port Chalmers for an overhaul.
