TIMARU WOMAN CRIPPLED IN BED FOR SEVEN MONTHS-EVERY JOINT SWOLLEN AND ANGRYMARVELLOUS CURE BY DR. WILLIAMS' PINK PILLS. After being crippled in bed for seven months in what sho terms absolute torture, Mrs. George Bentlcy, 14, Hattou Street, Timaru, was marvellously cured of Rheumatism by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. Because there are many others suffering with this complaint, Mrs. Bentley wants them to know about her cure. _" The Rheumatism came on after a wetting _ I got," said Mrs. Bentley. "It set in. in my feet and knees, and presently spread to every joint in my body. I began to suffer absolute torture. The joints would swell beyond belief. My ankles and knees were twice their proper size, and my thumbs and fingers the same. After two or three months like this I had to lay up altogether, and "for over seven months 1 was not out of my bed. I could not have got wit, I was absolutely chained and crippled. I was parched with thirst, and by the doctor's orders drank a3 much lomon water as I could. Many days I was so bad I could not feed myself, they would have to use a cup to •g'lfve me anything. Many a time my husband after coming from work would have 'io lift me in bed while ho smoothed the blankets— could not sleep in sheets. My mother-in-law had to look after the house, and I had to employ a woman, and sometimes a neighbour would do a kind turn. Sometimes when the pain was at _ its worst I could hardly bear any weight on me in bed, and I dreaded anyone coming near me. I never thought' I would ever get bolter, though everything possible was tried. I became as thin and white as could be. Even my lips got bloodless. Before I had been plump and frash coloured. You could press down tlio swellings and leave a red dent in the flesh. Liniments did mo no good. I got so low-spirited, suffering month after month as I did, that I would have to give way and cry. and the pain itself would make mo groan with it. If it had not been for my husband and child I would have been glad to give up life. We sold our old home and came to this one, thinking tho change might help me, but after a week or so I was just as bad as over. I was strongly advised to try Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, by a man who had been cured by them, so after thinking I sent for a box. Before it was finished I was able to sit down and dry the dishes, and then I did a bit of ironing, still sitting, and I could feel then every day tho pain and stiffness lessoning and passing out of mo and the swellings going down. 1 have not had a twinge since I finished tho course. I gained colour and flesh and can do every bit of housework however heavy. I ought to feel thankful, just tho two boxes did it, and I was as'bad as could be when I started." Dr. Williams' Pink Pills make the good new blood that tones the system and enables it to expel the rheumatic poison. They are 3s per box; six boxes 16s 6d, of all dealers or from the Dr. Williams' Medicine Co., of Australasia, Ltd., Wellington.
